what is mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of hialuronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, enzymes, minerals and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

First of all this is non surgical skin rejuvenation treatment aimed at diminishing problem areas on the face and body.

Treatment can be used for face, neck and under eye rejuvenation and also for common concerns such as hair thinning.

Also known as Meso Skin Needling is a gentle but effective and targeted facial where specially selected serums are placed directly in the skin.

Mesotherapy is use to:

  • fade wrinkles and fine lines
  • minimise pores
  • prevents skin aging
  • tightens skin
  • lifts and rejuvenates skin
  • remove fat in areas like the stomach, thighs, buttocks, hips, legs, arms, and face
  • reduce cellulite
  • tighten loose skin
  • recontour the body
  • lighten pigmented skin
  • treat alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss

The technique uses very fine needles to deliver a series of injections into the middle layer (mesoderm) of skin. The idea behind mesotherapy is that it corrects underlying issues like poor circulation and inflammation as a result cause skin damage.

Substances injected into skin:

  • hialuronic acid
  • amino acids
  • vitamins
  • minerals
  • herbal extracts

How do you prepare to treatment :

You’ll meet our professional cosmetologist ahead of time to find out what to expect.

The important thing to prepare for a treatment is to have a basic understanding of it, treatment and after treatment time, effects and exceptional circumstances.

Treatment sessions are carried out once a week and are likely to last about half an hour for each. The number of sessions in a needle mesotherapy varies in every individual. Usually it takes four sessions in 2-4 weeks interval.

You often see changes within a couple of sessions, 4 is the average number of suggested treatments.

Cut off fat with mesotherapy:

For fat cut-off treatment, you should follow a planned diet and maintain an exercise routine between sessions.

Mesotherapy requires no certain recovery time, you can get back to your everyday life right away.

Side effects:

Before going into this treatment, you might want to take note some of the side effects that can occur. There is the possibility of some allergic reactions to one or more of the elements in the substance applied to your skin, it could apparently be noticed by the appearance of redness. But do not worry, if you have a history allergies, you will be recommended taking a test before treatment.

Above all mesotherapy is a suitable choice for any people who are seeking to improve their skin appearance, elasticity, softness and skin tone without feeling uncomfortable of the needle. All you need to do is just noticing those tips above, to have a preparation for the treatment and get the best the results.

What happens during your appointment?

During each session, you may or may not have numbing medicine applied to your skin. You’ll get a series of injections using a special short needle. The needle may be attached to a mechanical gun or syringe  to deliver many injections in a row.

The injections can be given at different depths — from 1 to 4 millimeters into your skin — depending on what condition you’re having treated. Each injection may only place a tiny drop of the solution into your skin.

What is the recovery like?

Because mesotherapy is noninvasive, there usually isn’t any downtime. Many people are able to return to their regular activities right away. Others may need to take a day off due to swelling and pain at the injection sites.

How long does swelling last?

You will note some redness, stinging, & burning within 15 minutes to 2 hours after treatment, and later, swelling and bruising, which peaks between 6-72 hours.

can mesotherapy be used for hair loss?

In addition to treating wrinkles and removing unwanted fat, mesotherapy is also used to treat hair loss from alopecia. The treatment injects natural plant extracts,  of vitamins injected into  face in my quest for glowing skin and it actually worked

People who perform treatment for hair loss claim it:

  • corrects hormone imbalances in and around the hair follicle
  • delivers nutrients to the hair
  • improves blood circulation

Yet just as with other uses of mesotherapy, there is little evidence that it works for hair loss. Most of the substances that are injected haven’t been shown in studies to regrow hair. Only finasteride and minoxidil have any evidence to show they work.
